Special Christmas Round Table: A Christmas Horror Story | Krampus (2015)

December 17, 2018

The last Round Table of 2018, Paul and Tessa welcome newest member Tristen Notte. Tristen has joined up with Everything Horror Podcast, and is now part of the horror family that involve our friends over at DecayMag.com. Within this discussion we talk about two films that came out in 2015, one is the anthology film bringing stories to tie into one big story, A Christmas Horror Story. And the finale we discuss Michael Dougherty's version of Krampus, with a story that tells of a lady, long before this present day in the film, made a horrible regret. Now the Shadow of Saint Nicholas has returned to take away once again.

Within this final Round Table of 2018 we had Ken Artuz and Stacy Cox from DecayMag.com. Paul Dulski, Tessa Baker and new member Tristen Notte from Everything Horror Podcast. And we discussed both wintery films.

Special Christmas Round Table: Black Christmas / Silent Night, Deadly Night

December 10, 2018

Black Christmas is now what I consider a cult classic. Made in Canada with a budget of $620,000, it's the type of Home Invasion that the Sorority Girls didn't have a take part in. The only thing's that still lay a mystery within this film, who was the this maniac that went back to his home? What happened and how did it become what it was, a safe place for ladies. Or so that's what they thought. This film relied on practical effects and actually won 2 awards, which with horror films nowadays you don't really see as much.

Silent Night Deadly Night is another classic, once tried getting banned but it never succeeded. Made within America on $1,065,000 (estimated), which in the 80's that's a pretty impressive amount. Billy who once was a nice child, was forever changed when he witnessed his own parents murder from a man wearing a Santa Claus suit. Only to be abused and raised from an Orphanage with Mother Superior who thought, teaching to punish those that are naughty at any means necessary. Could that really fix a troubled past? Or could it possibly trigger it to make Billy go on a rampage.

On this Episode we had Stacy Cox and Ken Artuz from DecayMag.com. And Dan Lee, from Danno of the Dead.

Round Table: with Ken Artuz from DecayMag - Zombies | Child’s Play Reboot | Halloween | Games

November 25, 2018

Paul sat down with Ken from DecayMag and we discussed some various topics from Zombies, Child's Play (Reboot), Layers of Fear and more. Mainly Zombies though...

Zombies: How they started and how we see them today. Also what are considered some Zombie films to fall into the category?

Child's Play Reboot: No original voice for Chucky? No longer a Good Guy? Is he a Robot and not a Doll?

Layers of Fear 2: The original took on a evil artist, number two takes on a evil actress. Coming 2019.

More: Other video games, and more Zombies.

Round Table Part 2: With DecayMag & Jed Brian (Unlisted Owner)

July 13, 2018

The finale of the 3 hour Round Table Discussion comes to an end with the start of Jed Brian on the hot seat, after the "torture" we finally take thoughts on the Future of Horror. If films keep failing, is the next route to keep the titles alive through TV series? Even though shows like The Exorcist, The Mist, Lucifer (which was saved by Netflix) gonna be the answer to unanswered questions if they cancel after the first seasons? Then we say our Goodbye's and give you all our social media's.

In this Round Table Episode we chat.

  • Jed Brian's Interview
  • Future of Horror
  • Goodbye's and Social Media
